The Sixty61 Adjustable Lowering Link for the Honda CBR1000RR lets shorter riders reach the ground confidently and stay in control—without a permanent, fixed drop. Unlike standard lowering links that lock you into one position, this billet aluminum link adjusts 1" to 2" lower while still bolted to the bike. A simple hex turn is all it takes to dial in your preferred seat height on the fly.

Do I need to remove the lowering link to change the drop setting?
No. That's the main advantage of this design. You can adjust the drop position from 1" to 2" using a hex wrench while the link is still installed on the bike—no disassembly required.
Will lowering my CBR1000RR affect handling?
Lowering any motorcycle changes the suspension geometry, which can affect cornering feel and ground clearance. For street riders and shorter riders who primarily need to flat-foot, a 1" drop is usually the best balance. Riders who want a more aggressive crouch or track tuck sometimes prefer the full 2". We recommend starting at the minimum drop and adjusting from there.
Is this a direct bolt-on installation?
Yes. This link replaces your OEM suspension linkage and installs using your existing hardware. No drilling, cutting, or modification is required. A basic set of hand tools is all you need.

2026 hayabusa. If you are looking to get better sound without having to get a full exhaust system and do you can remove those ugly stock mufflers this is 100% the way to go. Sounds is perfect. You even hear pops in between shifting. I think i might keep these long term
